Following the huge success of the Historic Hillclimb editions in 1998, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2017, and 2022, the organizers invited you to this 9th edition, which took place this year on August 23 and 24, for a Jim Clark Tribute.
This sporting event was held in its historic form, exclusively with race cars in their original configuration.
For the 9th edition, the organizing committee had the great privilege of welcoming Giacomo Agostini, the motorcycle rider with fifteen World Championship titles, and Freddie Spencer, who this year celebrated the 40th anniversary of his double title in 250cc and 500cc in 1985 on Honda. Rolf Biland and Kurt Waltisperg, Bruno Kneubülher, Jacques Cornu, and Philippe Coulon were also part of the festivities, along with Dakar driver Jean-Jacques Loup. Also present were Erik Comas and Nicolas Prost, renowned drivers, and the female crew of Team Shakti (Carine Randin and Mélanie Grognuz), who won the Rallye des Gazelles in Morocco in the spring of 2025.
We also had the privilege of celebrating an anniversary edition commemorating Jim Clark’s participation in Ollon-Villars in 1965 with his Lotus 38, which won at Indianapolis that same year, with the notable participation of the Historic Ecosse team.
More than 300 racing vehicles took to the legendary course linking Ollon to Villars, with an exceptional lineup of vehicles formerly driven by Jim Clark or directly related to the Scottish champion, including F1, F2, and F3 single-seaters, Grand Prix cars, sports prototypes, motorcycles, and sidecars from all over Europe.
Once again, it was a great event for all participants to enjoy, with an enthusiastic audience (more than 10,000 spectators over the two days) and glorious weather.
A huge THANK YOU to our many volunteers and marshals, without whom we would not have had such a great success, and to our partners and sponsors, not forgetting a big nod to our Honorary President, Georges Gachnang.
